Terms & Conditions

Access to and use of the TechnoReady website (hereinafter, the “Website”), as well as any product, service, content, or functionality available through it (collectively, the “Services”), are subject to these Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter, the “Terms”).

These Terms shall be deemed accepted by any person who accesses, browses, or uses the Website (hereinafter, the “User”). Users are advised to read these Terms carefully before using the Website or any of its Services.

The Website is operated by TechnoReady, a nonprofit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, with its registered office in said state. Its primary purpose is to promote the employability of recent graduates in information technology fields through training, networking, and professional development programs.

Use of the Website constitutes the User’s express and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If the User does not agree with any part of these Terms, they must refrain from using the Website and the Services offered through it.

If specific conditions apply to certain sections of the Website, such conditions shall prevail over these Terms with respect to the use of those particular sections.

Limited license

Access to and use of the TechnoReady Website is granted to the User under a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable license, solely for informational purposes and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Use.

The User agrees to use the Website lawfully, ethically, and in compliance with applicable regulations, and to refrain from any action that may compromise the integrity, availability, or functionality of the Website. The following actions are expressly prohibited:

• Interrupting or attempting to interrupt the operation of the Website by any means.
• Modifying, copying, distributing, transmitting, displaying, performing, reproducing, publishing, licensing, creating derivative works from, transferring, or selling any content, software, product, or service obtained through the Website, unless expressly authorized in writing by TechnoReady.
• Mirroring or replicating the content of the Website on any other website or medium without prior authorization.
• Accessing accounts, systems, or data of TechnoReady or third parties without authorization.
• Using the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited purposes under these Terms.
• Introducing viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.

Violation of these Terms will result in the immediate revocation of the rights granted to the User, without prior notice, and may include the deletion of any content downloaded or stored in breach of these provisions.

Forms and Registration

The Website may make various electronic forms available to the User for purposes such as contact, registration, subscription, participation in calls for applications, access to resources, or any other service offered by the organization.

By completing and submitting any of these forms, the User declares that the information provided is truthful, current, and complete. TechnoReady reserves the right to verify such information and, in the event of inconsistencies, falsehoods, or misuse, may suspend or cancel access to the corresponding services, as well as delete any submission that violates these Terms and Conditions, without prior notice. TechnoReady also reserves the right to take any applicable legal action.

The User agrees not to use the Website’s forms to:

• Impersonate third parties or provide false information.
• Include offensive, defamatory, illegal content or content that infringes the rights of third parties.
• Introduce viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
• Conduct unauthorized commercial promotions.
• Share third-party personal data without their express consent.

The User acknowledges that they are solely responsible for the information provided through the Website and agrees to hold TechnoReady harmless from any claims arising from the misuse of such forms.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights over the content of the Website, including but not limited to texts, logos, images, graphics, documents, downloadable materials, software, and design, belong to TechnoReady or have been duly licensed for its use.

Access to the Website does not, under any circumstances, imply the transfer of intellectual property rights to the User. The use, reproduction, distribution, modification, public communication, or any other form of exploitation of the content without the prior written authorization of TechnoReady is strictly prohibited.

The User agrees to respect all intellectual and industrial property rights of the Website and of the content accessible through it.

Third-Party Content

The Website may contain references, links, or access to content, products, services, or information generated by third parties (hereinafter, “Third-Party Content”), including but not limited to articles, tools, reports, educational materials, external websites, affiliated platforms, or social networks.

TechnoReady does not create, control, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, availability, or timeliness of Third-Party Content. The User acknowledges and accepts that such content is provided solely for informational purposes and at their own risk.

Accessing third-party websites through links available on the Website implies leaving the TechnoReady environment. The User is responsible for reviewing the terms, conditions, and privacy policies applicable to such sites, as TechnoReady assumes no responsibility for the handling of personal data, business practices, or content published by third parties.

Likewise, TechnoReady shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the use of Third-Party Content, including, without limitation, potential intellectual property infringements, inaccuracies in the information, or any harm resulting from the User’s interaction with such third parties.

Limitation of Liability

The Website, its content, and the services available through it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. TechnoReady does not guarantee that the Website will be error-free, uninterrupted, free of viruses or other harmful components, or that its content will be accurate, complete, or up to date.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TechnoReady shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, loss of income, or any other harm resulting from the use or inability to use the Website, even if TechnoReady has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Confidentiality and Personal Data

TechnoReady does not request or wish to receive confidential or proprietary information through the Website. Any information or material submitted by the User shall be considered non-confidential, unless expressly stated otherwise and previously accepted by TechnoReady.

The User is responsible for not disclosing confidential information of third parties without their consent and for refraining from submitting content for which they do not hold the necessary legal rights.

TechnoReady is committed to processing the User’s personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. In particular, when data is collected or processed from individuals located in Mexico, the provisions of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) shall apply.

Modifications

TechnoReady reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, update, add, or remove any part of these Terms and Conditions of Use, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice.

Modifications shall take effect immediately upon their publication on the Website. Continued use of the Website by the User after such modifications have been made shall constitute express acceptance of the changes.

Likewise, TechnoReady may, at any time and without prior notice, suspend, limit, modify, or discontinue any aspect of the Website, including the availability of any functionality, content, or service. It may also restrict the User’s access to certain sections or to the entire Website, without this giving rise to any right to claim compensation.

The User acknowledges and agrees that TechnoReady may revoke, at any time and at its sole discretion, the rights and licenses granted under these Terms, and the User must immediately cease use of the Website and delete any content downloaded or stored in violation of these provisions.

Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

In the event that TechnoReady collects or processes personal data from individuals located in the United Mexican States, such processing shall also be subject to the provisions of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and other applicable Mexican regulations.

Any dispute arising from access to, use of, or interpretation of the Website shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the State of Oregon, United States, and the User expressly waives any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them by reason of their present or future domicile.
