Formula E + TechnoReady: Empowering Mexico’s Future Innovators
At Formula E, racing is only part of the story. Beyond the track, we’re committed to accelerating positive change in every city we visit—leaving a legacy that lasts long after the race is over.
In January 2025 aligned to the Mexico City E-Prix, Formula E proudly partnered with TechnoReady, to empower local Mexican university students to explore careers in STEM and motorsport. Through engaging, hands-on experiences, Formula E helped bring students closer to the high-energy world of electric racing—and the career paths that fuel it.
The Path Into Motorsport Starts Here
In collaboration with TechnoReady, Formula E delivered a series of impact-driven experiences designed to inspire and inform Mexico’s next generation of innovators:
- Panel Talk: Local students took part in a dedicated off-site session focused on STEM opportunities in motorsport, hearing from professionals working in the industry.
- Inspiration Hour: A behind-the-scenes tour at the Mexico City E-Prix, giving TechnoReady participants exclusive access to the pit lane, gaming arena and live track action.

Formula E’s impact programmes go far beyond the track, and are driven by four key programmes:
- Better Futures Fund: Leaving a lasting legacy in every city we race in by funding local causes.
- FIA Girls On Track: Opening doors for young women in motorsport and STEM.
- Driving Force: Empowering the next generation of changemakers through STEM & sustainability education.
- Community Engagement: Includes our Inspiration Hour community tour and bespoke initiatives tailored to local communities.

Better Futures, Starting Today
As part of Formula E’s global Better Futures Fund, in Mexico City Formula E supported El Caracol’s ‘School of Butterflies’ initiative—helping 226 children and their caregivers transition away from street life with dignity and long-term support.
During race week, our teams joined community workshops, engaged in open dialogue, and welcomed the El Caracol community to race day. It’s part of Formula E’s commitment to driving social inclusion—and to leaving a real legacy in every host city.
